There is also a counter to the bottom right which also changes the number when they change to the slide. It looks like it's some sort of on scroll slider essentially.
If this is possibly within salient that would be great, if not I don't mind using a 3rd party plug-in. Please can you advise?

It doesn't have to necessary need to have the scroll functionality if it is possible to do the same as a slider.
