Just wondering if there is a way I can get the nectar slider on my home page to load the jpg sooner rather than later? Currently the image (nathanheaderv3.jpg) at the top of my home page loads at 2.6 seconds of the total 4 second load time. Would love to have it load much earlier since it’s really the only thing above the fold that needs to be rendered.
Are there any tricks I can implement for this? I’m currently using a CDN and Autoptimize. Thanks!

I have noticed you are recommending Better Wordpress Minify recently over Autoptimize, do you find this works better?

Bwp-minify is what I use and there's not much work you have to do. The only thing you'll need to do is remove font awesome from the minification
