Hi, I recently purchased this theme and uploaded a demo theme that is a single page. I've only edited the first two sections and every time I make a change using the Salient WP editor the computer lags, freezes and I need to restart. Is there a setting I'm missing to easily edit this theme or is this something I should always expect?
Please check and ensure that your PHP configuration limits are not set too low to complete the process. You should contact your web host and ask them to increase those limits to a minimum as follows:
max_execution_time 900
memory_limit 256M
post_max_size 256M
upload_max_filesize 256M
You can verify your PHP configuration limits you can also check your PHP error logs to see the exact error being returned.
You can also try testing for a plugin conflict. Please check for plugin conflicts by deactivating the third-party plugins and then reactivating them one by one to see the one that causes issues.
