Great theme. I have a couple questions that are kind of strange...

1. Is it possible to have a full-width item in a boxed layout? I am trying to create a bar that will span the entire width of the page. I will show you how I've made it...

The yellow bar is a .png image that I created in Photoshop. I have placed it as the background layer but would like the bar to span the full width of the screen. Is this possible or is there a better way to do this?

2. I've noticed that if you do not put dividers between objects that they will overlap. I would like my yellow bar to slightly overlap the slider image like on this website:

You see how the 'Affiliates' tab is on top of the slider?

If I do not put padding on top of my yellow bar, it will go beneath the slider. I would like for it to go above it. Do you understand what I mean?
