Issue with Typography and Theme Settings in Salient Theme

    Hello,

I hope you're all doing well. I'm currently working on a website using the Salient theme, and I've encountered an issue that I can't seem to resolve. I've built several websites with Salient in the past and haven't run into this particular problem.

The problem I'm facing is related to the theme's typography settings. It seems that none of the typography settings in Salient are being applied to my site. This includes font choices, font weights, and font sizes for headings (H1, H2, H3, etc.). I've checked and double-checked my Salient theme settings, and everything appears to be configured correctly.

Here are some specific issues I'm experiencing:

    1. **Font Selection:** I've chosen custom Google Fonts (e.g., 'Syne' and 'Outfit') for different headings, but they aren't displaying on my site as expected.

    2. **Font Weight:** I've specified font weights (e.g., 'bold') for certain headings, but they are not appearing as bold.

    3. **Font Size:** The font sizes for headings (H1, H2, H3, etc.) are not reflecting the values I've set in Salient's typography settings.

I've tried various troubleshooting steps, such as checking for conflicting CSS rules, using the `!important` declaration, and inspecting the page with browser developer tools, but I can't seem to pinpoint the issue.

Additionally, other theme settings, such as accent colors and logo size, are also not being applied.

I'd greatly appreciate any assistance or insights into what might be causing this issue. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the Salient theme or encountered a solution to this problem?

Please note that I recently imported some demos for my site, which I have since removed. I'm wondering if this could have created conflicts with the existing typography settings.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Emilie

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please check for plugin conflicts by deactivating the third-party plugins then reactivate it back one by one to see the one that causes issues.

    Kind regards,

    Hey Again,

You seem to have a caching plugin installed:
