I'm building a website for an artist and it's very important that the images when shown in a post grid output - like Post Loop Builder - that the featured images are displayed at their original proportions - ie not cropped to fit a predetermined grid height or width   - is there an option to do this ? that is just a post grid of images.

Thanks for getting back to me  - but this doesn't seem to have any affect, the images in the grid are still cutting off . 

If I can't display a full scale image then I will need a refund on this theme. Is there no other setting?

in other words I need to be able to enable fixed image proportions

I need to use the blog post data not just an image gallery so that you can click through to view details

if I use the blog post output is there away to just show the images with all the except , I have tried to switch these off but they seem to remain visible

Additionally 

I can see that you have an option to enable  - Bypass image cropping - only available in the "Portfolio" > Portfolio Settings 

Why isn't this available on all of these widgets?  in my experience - Artists' do not want their images cropped in any way 

I don't want to have change all of my posts to a custom post type /portfolio/  - as this will then mean I have to waste time remapping URLs

Yes Unfortunately i tried Full and also all of the other variation option but nun seem to do what I want.

Thanks for trying, this theme functionality is not suitable for my purposes.
