I hope this message finds you well. I am currently experiencing an issue with my WordPress website that uses the Salient theme, and I'm seeking assistance to resolve it.
Problem Description: I have recently updated my WordPress site to use the WP Offload Media plugin to store website and media images in an Amazon AWS S3 bucket. While most aspects of the migration have been successful, I am encountering an issue with the Salient theme's image gallery thumbnails.
The problem is as follows: - When I load a page containing an image gallery, the 300x250 thumbnails are not displayed. - However, if a user clicks on an image within the gallery, the full-size image is displayed correctly.
I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success: - Checked and adjusted the Media Library settings in WordPress to ensure correct thumbnail sizes. - Verified that permissions for the S3 bucket are correctly set for public access. - Cleared caching from both WordPress and WPRocket - Ensured that my Salient theme and WP Offload Media plugin are up to date.
- Ensure that Lazy Loading for images is turned OFF in WP Rocket
I am seeking your expert assistance in identifying and resolving this issue. Please let me know if you need any further information or access credentials to investigate the problem. I value your help in resolving this matter promptly.
That image size does not exist, here are the ones that do (see images - screenshot from bucket/folder specified). Here are the thumbnail sizes that are on the site:
An additional breakdown of the image sizes that are created... notice that 300x250 is not included here, which probably explains why the images don't exist in the bucket.

Q: Does image gallery generate the image On-the-Fly? If so or not, how to resolve?
According to the article, I've turned on the 'Lazy Load Page Builder Element' on the Child Theme - Salient General tab. Saved those options.
There was no 'Background Image Loading' option on the Image Gallery Element, just an 'Image Loading' option. It is set to 'Default'.
I did upload the Performance Lab plugin but have not regenerated the images. My question is, if I do that, should I change the thumbnail sizes on the site, to include the 300x250 size on Settings | Media page, or should I change it some place else? This is the setting that I am referring to:
No. I changed the dimensions on the Image Gallery to use the 350x350 images that were stored in S3 Bucket already. This issue needed to be resolved quickly, as this is a live site. Since the image gallery is resizing the picture to fit within the dimensions of columns specified (4), the additional size improves the quality and overall dimensions on the page appear the same - but may slow down the load of the page under different circumstances.
Focus is on improving performance of load scores for the website, so this is not THE optimum solution, but a stop-gap at the moment. Hence the need for the migration to Amazon AWS, Buckets - and then Amazon CloudFront to meet the CDN requirement.
I have two other websites to do for this client (all use the Salient Child Theme this one does), so if you can answer my question below on the regeneration of the thumbnails using the plugin you mentioned (Regenerate Thumbnails) I would appreciate it.
Could you allow us to log in to your website backend dashboard so we can check on this for you more?. We are gonna need the username and password of admin user as well as the login url.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately, sharing username, password, and admin user is out. I'll look at the regneratethumbnail plugin and see if I can figure it out now that we know it is a matter of mapping this to the proper size/file for the site.

Hey Again,
Try regenerating and optimizing the images using the Optimization plugins recommended in this Article http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/performance-optimization-guide/ and check if that makes a difference .
Thanks

Thanks.

Hey Again,
Have you set a custom size of "300x250" using : https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/modify-image-sizes/ ?.
