Hi, I'm getting a 409 - Conflict error whenever click "Save Changes" in the Salient theme options. I have checked the error log and all it comes back with is a single line pointing at mod_security:

[Tue Jan 13 15:22:20 2015] [error] [client 185.22.143.12] ModSecurity: [file "/etc/asl/modsecurity_crs_23_request_limits.conf"] [line "28"] [id "960335"] [msg "Too many arguments in request"] [severity "WARNING"] Access denied with code 409 (phase 2). Operator GT matched 255 at ARGS. [hostname "www.wholelattecoffee.com"] [uri "/wp-admin/options.php"] [unique_id "VLUqHH8AAAEAARh6CGoAAAAD"]

I have contacted my hostingcompany as well but haven't heard back from them yet. Most likely though they will point right back at the theme and require me to change the code rather than them changing changing their mod_security settings just for me.

I'm running wordpress 4.1, downloaded Salient fresh from Themeforest a few days ago.

I have already tried a fresh install of wordpress, added the theme, no plugins added or activated (not even woocommerce or the contact form plugin that Salient asks for), which made no difference.

    Hey Sebastiaan,

Glad you got it sorted - I've noted to look further into it but can say I haven't heard similar reports yet/

    Cheers!
