    When I activate the core plugin the site fails errors out. I deactivate it and the site comes back on

    I deleted the theme and it did the same thing will not work. Is there a php level that it only works with

    Please check for server php errors using this guide: http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/your-complete-guide-to-troubleshooting-wordpress/ . It would be best to contact the hosting provider and have them look into this as they are aware of the Server Configuration Details .

    By PHP level did you mean the version or memory configurations?
