    Hi,

    Please can you tell me how I can overwrite the following file in the salient child theme?

    /wp-content/plugins/salient-core/includes/post-grid/loop-markup.php

    Hey Again,

    You will have to copy the relevant function in that file to the Child theme "functions.php" file and add in the customizations.

    Hi,

    I'm not too sure how I'd change it into a function as I've edited the php with a new rule.

    Is it not possible to overwrite the file in the child theme in the same way I am able to overwrite the vc_template modules?

    Hey Again,

    You will have to copy "nectar_post_grid_item_markup" function to the Child Theme functions.php file to overwrite it easily. Overriding the file would require editing other files which would later make the Theme updates more tedious.
