Would you please help me urgently. For some reason, I can't replace 'Custom Thumbnail Image' in any of my portfolio items. Even if a make a new portfolio page, it doesn't allow me. Nothing happens when I click 'Remove Upload' button/link. See attached screenshot please.
I know Salient has provided astounding support in the past. I have purchased 9 or 10 licenses of Salient so far but that doesn't make it your problem, of course. Do you have advice while we wait for a response from them? Do you know of a fix at this time? Thank you!
Igor Orlic also found a plugin conflict . PRIVATE COMMENT:Hi there, Thank you very for that. I did play with plugins and it seems to work now. Much appreciated.
Could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
I've already done all the plugin testing as I mentioned.
For now - I have authorized the plugin author admin access and we will see what they do. If this helps you at all, I did discover another place it happens. In Slides in Nectar Slider Preview Image "Remove Upload" is the same.
I'll report back what I hear from the Ultimate Member folks.
The plugin author investigated and reported back the following. Do you still have the access credentials for my site, or can I issue you some new ones? Would you be able to take a look?
Ok every time I try to paste in the edited line it crashes the browser instantly. I'll keep trying to figure out why, but if you have ideas, that's great.
I'm using the Child-Theme so can I edit something there so that Salient updates don't overwrite it? Or will you be including in future updates maybe? :)
So - it would totally crash if I tried to do it in the editor. When I tried several times to change the file via ssh in FileZilla it would refuse to over-write the file. Really strange behavior to me
Finally I renamed the functions file adding OLD in the name and then tried uploading the repaired file and that failed numerous times. But once I logged out of everything including filezilla and logging out of the website, then it worked.
This is all just for your information. ...sharing as much information as I experienced. I'm pleased we got it resolved. I hope this helps others or revealed a bug that helps you or others.
I'll let you know if anything else pops up that seems similar. Otherwise - you can mark this as closed.

Tahir, you don't need to comment at this time. I'll try to remember to report back when I figure it out. I just have to wait til after hours.
Thanks
I discovered this plugin is in conflict and have reported it but I really can't swear where the change should occur.

Hey Again,
Try doing a Force Refresh in the Admin pages to reload the cache.
Depending on your operating system all you need to do is the following key combination:
Windows: ctrl + F5
Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
Linux: F5
Best.

Hi Tahir,
The plugin author investigated and reported back the following. Do you still have the access credentials for my site, or can I issue you some new ones? Would you be able to take a look?
Here's what they reported back:
"Hi Chris,
I've checked and the file upload js file of portfolio page is calling their file https://www.digitalpowersports.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/admin/core/lib/ReduxFramework/ReduxCore/inc/fields/upload/field_upload.js?ver=c3cc439d57cd0ecd7e218ac217ac333e from UM folder , but we have no such file , it's theme issue , please just find where is called this js file which do the uploading proccess, and correct the path, that will work , this conflict is here because the theme also is using ReduxFramework.
Thanks,
Let me know what I can do...
Thank you!
Chris
