Could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Hi,
Some recent update appears to have changed the default editor for a new Page.
Previously a new page would open with WP Bakery as the default editor.
Now a new page opens with the Classic Editor - see attached and "Backend Editor" needs to be clicked to move to WPBakery.
Can you assist in resolving please.
Role Manager settings as shown and Gutenburg Editor disabled
Thanks

Hi Tahir,
Just tried with a new Post and it is the same - not defaulting to WPB.

Morning Tahir,
Thanks for the reply.
I tried deactivating third party plugins to no avail.
However, I have found a good workaround which I will use.
The default template for a Page was set to "None" so I have created a new Page Template and set it as the default for a new Page.
I have done the same for a new Post.
This now works.

Mike
