    Hi there,

There is a glitch within the Salient theme you need to know about.

    https://littlejump.co.uk/tales-from-the-green-room/

When you click on the Read More button on the third story (History shmistory), the button does not link to its blog post.

This is because there is a Nectar Slider within the post. When I remove the Nectar Slider post, the button works.

Furthermore, if the Nectar Slider is the first element in the post, it adds rogue characters to the blog excerpt text (see attachment).

    Regards,

    Paul

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To troubleshoot this issue, please check for plugin conflicts by deactivating the third-party plugins and then reactivating them back one by one to see the one that causes issues.

Also, could you try switching to a WordPress basic theme like twenty twenty three and let us know if this issue still happens?

We look forward to your reply.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your reply. So I have now done the following:

Disabled all the plugins and enabled them one at a time.

Result. Issue was cleared until I reactivated the Nectar Slider plugin.

I then switched themes to twenty twenty three with Nectar Slider deactivated.

This resolved the problem until I reactivated Nectar Slider plugin.

With the plugin activated, theme twenty twenty three was also affected in the same way as Salient.

I guess the conclusion is that there's a glitch in Nectar Slider conflicting with a blog excerpt and the Read More Button on a blog page.

It doesn't affect the title of the blog, which continues to link to the post.

    With best wishes,

    Paul

Hey Paul, as of now there's no date set. However, I would estimate sometime mid-late December.
