Basically i would like to build a lider inside a row and have the option to use the pagebuilder building blocks to create each slide.

Try using the Carousel Page Element and check if that works for you.
Also try using the pre-built templates in the Salient Studio: https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/salient-studio/ .
