Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is 16.1.2 and the current version of the page builder is 7.1 . Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

I have a problem now in the Search Box: text is typing now backwards.
How can I fix this issue?
I read a lot of articles regarding this but I'm afraid to update the Theme because I have some changes in codes and don't want to loose one.

Hi,
I've installed Envato Market plugin. But I stuck with Downloading/Reuploading steps.
We have child theme active, theme Salient is not active.
Do I need install salient.zip? And where can I download the updated version? And how can I install child theme?
P.S.: our website is dd-h.com and the search doesn't work properly.

Having your child theme as the active theme will not affect your theme update in any way. If you want to use the zip file to update your theme, you can get this in the download section of your ThemeForest account as shown in our guide here https://themenectar.ticksy.com//article/5182/#:~:text=B)%20Without-,Theme%20Update,-(%20only%20Salient%20version
You can then follow the steps in our guide here to update your theme https://themenectar.ticksy.com//article/8260/.

I am afraid if you dont have access to the Themeforest Account you will have to create a new one and purchase a new Regular License in here: https://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/reviews/4363266 .
After which you can update the Salient Theme to the latest version and update it via the WP Dashboard by setting up Envato Market Plugin: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods

- Unfortunately there is no license info attached to the Salient Theme Files so we cant find the account that purchased the Theme.
- If the Current Theme files are not customized you can update it without any major issues.
- Regarding the new features those will be available once you update to the new version.
