    Hi Salient Team,

    Hope you're doing well.

I have noticed that project pages I create in the Portfolio section of the dashboard seems to be not compatible with Rank Math SEO plugin.

On all project pages, I have added a meta-title, meta-description required by Rank Math but after putting the website online + Google Search Console, the project page sorts on Google results without my meta-description. I tried to submit this specific page on Google Search Console but nothing change.

Pages and Blog articles are doing fine, it's just the Portfolio section.

I tested on other Salient websites I found and it seems to be happening too.

Do you have something that can fix that ?
Does Portfolio section is compatible with Yoast and not yet with Rank Math?

Cheers and happy new year :)

    Hey Again,

Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.

The current version of the theme is 16.1.2 and the current version of the page builder is 6.7.1 . Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.

Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

Here's an update guide on what to expect when jumping many major releases at once: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/ take a read through before the update, as many things have changed.

    Thanks.

    Hi Tahir,

Thanks for your answer but this website is already in 16.1.2 and Salient WPBakery Page Builder is 7.1

I keep the website updated so I don't think it's a versionning issue but I could be wrong.

I noticed it's also happening (but less) on Pages. For people that encounters this problem, I concluded it's probably the meta-description that I wrote in Rank Math that is the issue. Google prefers show something else. Post closed.

    Cheers
