Please check and see if you have created the posts page using the salient global sections. You can do this by going to your wp-admin > Global Sections and see if you can edit from there.
You can also check the page you've assigned as your blog page by going to wp-admin > Pages and you will see the page highlighted in the "-posts page" tag as shown in this screenshot.
I dont have a salient global section that reflects our post page, so I guess it haven't been created as a global section.
I already know what page is my blog page. But the design of the page seems locked. When I try to add an element and save, it resets to it's original design and no element has been added. It seems like there is a default setting overruling any design taken place on the page.
