I am reaching out to inquire about a customization feature within the Salient theme for WordPress. Specifically, I am interested in starting each post on my blog with a capital letter that is stylistically different from the rest of the text font.

This guide has a dropcap shortcode to help you add a dropcap : https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/salient-shortcodes-plugin/ after which you can use CSS to adjust the dropcap location.
