    Is this possible, and if so, how? The route of using visual composer to add a nectar slider yielded nothing, which I assume is due to the fact that this is the blog page. How can I customize the header with a Nectar slider of my choice? Thank you,

    Hey!

    You will have to place a Nectar Slider using Visual Composer and then add a Blog Page Element beneath it .

    Tahir, I did this to no avail (see attachment and link at http://theshutterbus.com/blog/). 

    It seemed to do nothing at all. Could you advise further? Thanks,

    You will also have to change the blog page in Settings -> Reading in the Dashboard.
