Hello, I have recently completed the development of a new website using the Salient theme (see related URL), however it has been intermittently taking a significant amount of time to load at any given point. For example, when I first try to open up the site it can take up to 10-20 seconds to even fire up the homepage at all – it just sits on a white screen while the browser indicates it loading. I switched the theme to one of the free WP themes and the issue went away, so I'm 99% sure it has something to do with the Salient theme. Keep in mind that I have built 10+ websites using Salient over the years and have never had this much of a loading issue. Please advise. thanks

Thanks for sharing those steps, but none of them seem to have resolved the problem.

Can you try to replicate the issue by opening the site up in an incognito mode browser window? Sometimes it loads up right away (intermittently), but the majority of the time it gets hung up as soon as you open the site up in the browser.

I'm happy to share the WP login credentials if it would help.

    Hey Again,

Were you able to get a response from the hosting provider as this seems like a URL Resolution issue : https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis?url=https%3A%2F%2Funiquesounds.com%2F

Thanks again for your prompt attention to this matter. I tried running the URL analysis on the PageSpeed Insights link you provided and got the same result. However, I believe this issue has been resolved now.

I called Godaddy and they said the DNS was pointing to 2 IP addresses. They said it must have happened during the site migration process. They also said the reason for the URL not returning any results on the PageSpeed site was because it's behind a firewall. Regardless, they fixed the issue so you can go ahead and close this ticket now. Thanks again for your help!
