My client needs to display the photographer's credits on each image, usually that works with the image title tag and is shown on hover. But Salient seems to suppress those and even with plugins for that purpose I couldn't get that to work. Please help
just the standard behaviour of the ordinary img title tag would be great - when hovering over an image, the title tag pops up - on sliders, single images etc.
I am afraid its not possible when using the Nectar Slider due to the different HTML markup. However the title tags should appear when "Single Image" Page Element is used .
Your colleague Tahir said the title tag would work on single image page element - but even here it doesn't or am I missing something? I am using your template since 2016 and am more than happy with it, but this is a serious downside when working with photographers that insist on their credits. I have tried several 3rd party plugins, but when the template suppresses the title tag, they don't work either. I don't quite understand why this tag has been left out …
Is there a way to get it at least with single image element working? Thanks for helping
Hey Philipp, alt tags have always been supported in image tags. Can you kindly provide a temporary admin account so that I can take a look why your title tag is not rendering with the new plugin installed?
I am sorry, I unzipped the archive and used ftp to override files on the server - wasn't aware that it works via plugin installation - seems to work now. Thanks so much, the only thing that's better than your template is your customer service!

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible with the theme, you might want to look into a 3rd party gallery plugin to help you achieve this.
