When using the original theme skin, some buttons have a slight 3D look whereas buttons on, for example, Nectar Sliders are completely flat. This leads me to believe that when rendering buttons on a Nectar Slider the theme skin is not respected.

The Home and Nectar Sliders always had a different look than the standard button - but you could make them the same with CSS if desired
