On Mobile, customers are experiencing issues with entering their credit card information. There is not enough space between entering credit card and expiration date.

    Hi William,

    Thanks for writing to us.

From my observation, the problem is not with the spacing, the field has 3 sections you need to enter as shown here: https://monosnap.com/file/i1K2G8cxRqbwIKTdJ7KKU6o5HeUD5E

    I hope this offers clarity.

Should you have any further questions or encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,

    Judith,

Thank you for your response. Customers understand that there are 3 sections. The issue is, the credit card number section bleeds into expiration date section making it difficult for them to enter the expiration date as shown in your video.

    Hi William,

    Thanks for writing back.

Switching to another theme, such as Twenty-Twenty-three, can help determine whether the problem is related to the Salient theme itself. If the issue persists with a different theme, it's likely not caused by the Salient theme.

Please let us know how it goes once you try.

I look forward to your response.

Your troubleshooting recommendation does not make sense. In the video you sent to me shows exactly what the issue is. Pay close attention to when you enter the credit card information in. It gets lost in the 2nd section. User must click on 2nd section to enter expiration date. This is clearly shown in YOUR video. This issue does not happen on desktop. Additionally, you tested on a desktop/laptop using your mouse to test mobile. Try it on an actual phone and see what happens.

    Hi William,

    Thanks for writing back.

The checkout page is usually generated by Woocommerce and so the issue may be showing on Salient but if it also show on another theme then it confirms that the issue is not caused by Salient theme and so Woocommerce can be in the best position to provide a suitable fix for this.

    I hope this offers clarity.

Please let us know the outcome once you try.
