Update: The nectar-highlighted-text does not work on portfolio, no matter the text color setting for the row.
I have a site that has overall dark background and light text. That's why I set the overall background to dark and the overall text to light (see screenshot 1).
When using the text color settings in rows the dark setting takes the colors set on the options page and the light color sets the font to #fff. That is not ideal as CI is #f1f0ef (but as far as I can tell this can't be set individually).
The main issue is that using "light" also overrides settings from the "nectar-highlighted-text". I could replicate this problem only on the portfolio pages though (screenshot 2 Portfolio Item, screenshot 3 regular page).
I believe this was a Preview Issue on my end. When i removed the ?preview from the url to send you the link the "nectar-highlighted-text" showed up as intended. Sorry for the confusion.
