when I try to switch of the boxed layout in the admin area it swithes of but after saving it is again active. So its not possible to switch Boxed Layout to off. Any idea?
Hey - have you tried to reach out to your host to see if any server side caching is enabled? If they say no try repairing your database by following this:

Hi Tahir - I find it out now. It came from the WPML plugin with String Translationen!
The string boxed_layout was set to 1. I deleted the String and then it worked again.
