My newly created website has just gone live. I've highlighted the 'shop' button on the main menu, but we would like to have it much more obvious in the off canvas menu I use for mobiles. Ideally the purple #684194 and perhaps a larger font too.
Could you please advice me how to go about that. Many thanks

Try enabling this option in the Salient Menu Options and see if this works for you.
