    Hi Roy,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please share your site URL so we can check this out and advise?

In the meantime, try disabling your social share buttons in the wp-admin > Appearance > Customize > Social Share and uncheck all the social share buttons.

We look forward to your reply.

    Thanks,

    Thank you Andrew, it worked!

    The URL btw is:

    https://pheshly.at

    I have another quick question:

When I go to Safari or Chrome on my iPhone and open a new tab, what I see are favicons of the websites I visit most often. And all of them have their respective favicon.

Only my own page (pheshly.at) has the logo of wordpress as an icon (as you can see in the attached image). How can I change it to the favicon I have? (fyi: the favicon I have is a SVG, and to make it work in your theme, I needed the help of the plugin "Code-Snippets"). Can you help me out here?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Roy,

Thank you for getting back to us.

You can add a favicon to your WordPress site by navigating to wp-admin > Appearance > Customize > Site Identity and add the favicon.

Alternatively, you can add this by navigating to wp-admin > Settings > General Settings and add the icon from there.

Try this and let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Hi Andrew,

well, that's the thing, I already did both, but still... Is it because it's SVG?

But even if it is, other people do make it work with svgs. Also, other themes offer the option to upload an icon for iPhones and iPads...

    Hey Again,

    - Try using the SVG plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/safe-svg/ if you are having trouble using SVG's.

    - Also regarding the favicon option , Salient uses the recommended WP Core feature which does not require any other iPhone or IPad Fields.

Try using this plugin or similar: https://wordpress.org/plugins/favicon-by-realfavicongenerator/ .

    Thanks.
