    1. Can salient kindly offer the same functionality as Enfold in this regard by allowing the user to ADD NEW CUSTOM WIDGET SECTIONS. I'm restricted to only those the theme provides. A to-do implementation that could take priority?

    2. It would seem that nearly all of my site content - including LearnDash - is using the standard PAGE sidebar widget section. I have literally 20 widgets each pulling in shortcodes andn they are contextual - this is a nightmare to manage (show / hide / exclude those not used with class:NOT etc. Is there any way for me to assign a custom widget section to various sections of the website? I understand you are under no nobligation to support LearnDash but this could help with other taxonomies (many custom via ACF). What I can do is hide the standard side bar and add a 'widgetised sidebar' in the builder and select there. But that's only for individual page, not archives.

    Thank you.

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Allow me to escalate this to the developer to advise further on this.

    Thanks,

    Hey Andrew,

Have you tried adding a global section that contains the widgetised sidebar element set to display at the sidebar top location?

Going that route should allow your widgets to display on all pages (with the sidebar enabled) as well as archives.

    Kind regards

OK that's one way of adding a custom sidebar but it will be site-wide / global. I'm needing finer control of sidebars - I cannot create a new sidebar section. I would please advise you take note of point 1 and implement it in future releases. Kindly note Enfold functionality attached. Not much more to add, I'll have to slog this out with what I have.

Thanks for the request, Andrew. You should also be able to use the following plugin to achieve the same functionality: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/

    Kind regards
