I was wondering if it is possible to change the icon from a plus sign to the map marker "fas fa-map-marker-alt" and if so, what would be the custom code to do this?
I am afraid we don't have this option at the moment. You may need to change the markup to add a different icon.
This would require some extensive customization which I'm afraid we are not able to offer due to support scope limitations.
