    On my client's Salient Portfolio I am unable to disable the Meta Title popup anymore. Third line down, second image in, "THE SUPREMES"

    Only this image has the title come up on hover. I have had not had this problem in the past. Any idea how to lose the title like all of the other images?

    Hey Bryan Zee,

    All those portfolio posts are set to Custom Content which is the reason they are not showing the Meta Title other than the "The Supremes" one.

    My custom content button is missing. I have attached the screenshot I forgot earlier. Is there a way to get the button back or a way to code it directly?

    Hey Again,

    We would recommend you update to the Latest Salient Theme Version to fix this and other security issues. 

    The current version of the theme is 16.2.2 and the current version of the page builder is 7.6. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.

    Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

    Here's an update guide on what to expect when jumping many major releases at once: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/ take a read through before the update, as many things have changed.

    Hi. I'm having trouble understanding the process and getting the Salient theme updated. This website was originally built in 2018 by someone else. I've been working on it since 2019. I attached a pdf of the errors I'm getting when I use Envato Market. The tokens would be from the original webmaster. What do I need to do?

    Can I download Salient without having the original account? The webmaster built the site in 2018. We don't know what account it was purchased on. when I use the Envato Market it takes me to my account which has no purchases.

    I am afraid you need to log in with the account you made a purchase with. Without the account you may need to purchase another license to download the theme.

    Thanks again and sorry I take so long to reply. I can only work on this issue when I get some free time.

    We contacted the  original web designer. He gave us the user name but didn't know the password. We have sent in 3 requests to change the password but have received no reply on the email connected to the site..........or any of the other email possibilities. Next is to either get the password retrieval  to work or buy the new license. What do you think I should do next?

    The theme does not handle any account and licensing issues. I would recommend contacting the Envato/ThemeForest team to assist with the account retrieval.
