We have changed our hosting provider and cannot get the Salient theme to be configured properly again.
We have a full website backup which we have uploaded to the new hosting already but the site still does not work
I'm assuming we need to purchase or verify the License of the Salient theme to be able to do anything about this. but can somebody please offer some sort of support and clarification before us doing so?
This does not sound like a theme issue but more of a hosting/wordpress issue. Normally, you can migrate the site normally and then setup "Envato Market" Plugin with the new License Key without any effect on the theme.
Could you try reaching out to your new hosting provider and see if they can help?
we do not have access to the old site or wp-admin, as the switch from one provider to another has already happened, so a migration is not possible at this moment. what we do have is a full website backup (tar.zip)
we have already reached out to the provider and told us to upload the website and check from there, though we have done so and it is not working
that is why i asked if the Salient theme needs to be installed before maybe it has a function to restore the site from the backup instead ?
