That style will be utilized when setting your "Blog Header Type" to "Featured Media Under Heading" in the Salient options panel > Blog > Single Post Header tab.
After making that change, ensure that you also have your Salient Social "Style" set to "Determined by theme settings", in the WordPress customizer: https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/salient-social-plugin/
