I have a new client and the old webmaster did not update anything. Now I bought the Salient theme again for the client and want to update it. We are starting at 10.0.1 from 2019 and I am not sure if it works to update directly to the recent 16.3.1 version.
Any chance to get the last major versions as a ZIP file, so I can move from major to major?
-Also ensure you first update on a staging site with the help of a developer so that once it is successful you can migrate to your live site so that your live site is not interfered with.

Since you are updating from an old version then the site is potentially able to break.
I would request you do the following.
