    Hello,

First of all thanks for a wonderful. I am in the really early developmental stages of my site. At the beginning the fullwidth masonry style was cooperating perfectly and I loved the look of it. Because it was working seamlessly, I don't think it has to do with the size of the images I am uploading. But, who knows. Anyway, recently it has been separating the images into 2 separate columns, see the URL, and I hate the look of that. Do you think you could help me fix it?

    Thanks a lot,

    Alex

    Hello,

Thank you for the quick response. In the past 2 weeks I have talked to my hosting provider. It should be all set now. I have a bunch of questions. I don't know if I am supposed to open separate questions for each topic, but I would really appreciate help on this as I am struggling. I don't know code, but I really want my website to function. So, without further ado, here are all of my questions:

    1) Masonry layout not functioning correctly (as stated above). This can be seen by going to this page of my website: arcaptures.com/portfolio/DSLR/

    2) If you click on one of the portfolio items from the link above, you will notice every portfolio item is returning a 404 error. I have no idea why, and they were working just last week.

    2) Is there any way to remove widgets from the home page? I cannot find a way to get rid of the widgets. I don't need four of them, maybe 0 or just 1. You can see this here on the bottom of my homepage at ARcaptures.com

    3) I don't know if this is your jurisdiction but do you have any insight as to how to change the currency of the Woocommerce plugin from Euros to Dollars?

    4) Do you have a recommended system to get people to subscribe to new posts?

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I sincerely appreciate any assistance!!!!!

    Hey!
Please switch to "Standard" Ajax method in Salient Theme Options -> Page Transition Section.
Try going to Settings/Permalinks, changing to another permalink structure, and back to "post name," and Pressing the Save Button. That should fix the 404 error.
You can remove the widgets from Salient Theme Options -> Footer Section .
You can try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/subscribe2/ .
    Thanks

Thank you so much for the help, you guys rock. Still a couple problems:

    1) the masonry grid on my portfolio page is still giving me the two columns look - I would like no white space on the page.

    2) re-saving the permalinks did not work. I still have the 404 error on each post. Is there anything else I could try?

    Thanks!

    Alex

^^^ I should mention that even when I create an entirely new portfolio item, the page is immediately a 404 error.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Is there a way to enable the portfolio as fullwidth all at once, or do I have to do it to each item? I have changed several items individually to fullwidth but am seeing no results. There is still 2 columns. To clarify, I want it to look like this (how it is displayed on your theme's preview): http://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/4363266

    as opposed to mine: http://arcaptures.com/portfolio/DSLR/

In terms of the 404 - My hosting service (godaddy) said the following: "Mod_rewrite is an Apache Web server module installed on all of our Linux servers by default; it does not have to be installed or enabled. Our Linux hosting accounts support most mod_rewrite functions." Therefore, it is already enabled. They did say, however, that you guys need to provide me with the "desired code to the body of my .htaccess file." Could you provide me with that code and instructions to fix this issue?

I am sorry for all of the questions, but I don't think they are my fault. I really appreciate the help and I think you're awesome for assisting but to be honest I didn't predict all of these issues with the theme!

    Best,

    Alex

    Hey Again!

Please use this link: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-frostwave/ to directly link me to the page you are referring.

As regards the permalinks please see: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks .

We have had alot of users complaining about godaddy so i would not trust them when they say the issue is not on their end.

    Thanks
