Phantom Plugin Update

My site is still in development mode, so I don't have a URL. I'm a new user of Salient, but I've installed it on 2 demo sites so far and experienced this issue on both:

After a clean install of Salient into a fresh WordPress site, it keeps saying there's 1 plugin that needs updating. However, when I click on Dashboard > Updates, it says there's no updates!

I've disabled all of my plugins and the phantom is still there. It only goes away when I deactivate Salient and use a different theme.

I have WooCommerce and Contact Form 7 installed, per Salient's request, but the phantom update is still there. Even tried clearing all transients from the database using WP-Optimize with no luck.

This doesn't hinder my site in any way but severely annoys my OCD. Is there any way to fix this?

    Hey!

Are you running Theme Version 5.0 ? . I believe this issue was fixed.

    Thanks

    Hi Tahir,

Yes, I just checked and my site is running Salient version 5.0.

My WordPress (4.1) and all of my site's plugins are also up-to-date.

Any recommendations on clearing this? I've cleared the cache numerous times with no luck.

Hey - this has actually now been linked to the built in version of VC and will be cleared in the upcoming update

    Cheers
