In a recent update you expanded the Global Sections and made it possible to have a global section replace the blog archive loop. Which is awesome!
For some reason, you don't allow setting display conditions when the display is set to "blog archive loop". This prevents the following flexibility:
Let's say we have the default wordpress posts, a custom post type called projects, and we have set a global section with a post loop builder element to "blog archive loop".
Both of their archive pages will use that global section.
However, if I wanted the projects' archive page to have different sorting (or any other option of the post loop builder), I can't do that.
As such, it would be awesome if we could set global sections with blog archive loop to specific post types.
Yes, once you set the Global Section to be displayed on your Blog Archive, you can not add the section to other pages on your site as it is a special setting. I have noted your request and added it to the wishlist for consideration in future updates.

Is this something that might get added?
Thank you!

Hi Josh,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, once you set the Global Section to be displayed on your Blog Archive, you can not add the section to other pages on your site as it is a special setting. I have noted your request and added it to the wishlist for consideration in future updates.
We appreciate your patience on this.
