Is there a way in Salient to hide only select sections on a page from users unless they're logged in (as opposed to setting the full page to private)? I was trying to do it using the extra class name option, but I must be doing it incorrectly because it isn't working.

    Thank you!

    Hi Melanie,

    Thanks for writing to us.

I am afraid we don't have this option at the moment, we'll however take note of this as a feature request.

If you have any more questions or run into any problems, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,

    Hey Again,

You will have to use this plugin or similar: https://wordpress.org/plugins/content-control/ .

    Thanks.

I'll try that plugin, thank you!

And Judith, I would appreciate that being added to a feature request! That would be so incredibly nice to have. :)

    Thank you both!

Hey Tahir, could I ask if this is a plugin that others have successfully used with Salient to hide sections? Or is it one that you found in a search? I am grateful for the suggestion, but it doesn't seem to work with Salient - again, I'm running into the issue that most of these plugins now seem to require the ability to work with blocks and the same controls are not visible within the WP Bakery builder (front-end or back-end editor).

If this is a plugin that was suggested based on others' success, could you point me to any help with how to use it with Salient specifically? Or would you have any other suggestions for plugins that have worked for other Salient users?

    Thank you!

    Hi Melanie,

    Thanks for writing back.

The suggested plugin hasn't been tested with Salient theme and so if there are any compatibility issues it may be because the plugin doesn't work with the theme. You can reach out as well to the plugin's team to find out more.

If you have any more questions or run into any problems, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,

    Hey Again,

Yes, we have had users use this plugin with the Gutenberg Page Element which provides Blocks. There are other plugins such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/ that provide shortcodes as well.

    Thanks.
