I want just one post category (or maybe two) to show on my blog page.  Right now all are showing. How/where do I select that?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing to us.

If you have assigned the Blog page as a static Posts Page then you may need to adjust that by making it a regular page then you can use the Post Loop Builder element to select the number of posts you want to appear.

The Static Posts Page shows all the posts as it is a dynamic archive page.

I really hope this proves helpful for you. If you have any more questions or run into any problems, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,

Thanks, I was wondering if that might be the way to go.  How do I then get the blog sidebar to show on a regular page though?

You can enable the sidebar from here: https://monosnap.com/file/V5zCgoZkKiRFLdenUoEga8k7X9IbO0

Ok, I have created this blog page https://kvq.66d.myftpupload.com/blog/  but, how do I define which sidebar to use.  The default is not the blog sidebar I want to show and I don't see that as an option. The one you are seeing there is the Page sidebar not blog sidebar.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back.

Please confirm whether it helps to use a template with a sidebar such as this: https://monosnap.com/file/7uZeOGnQ5IaKQy5Yv0e9dN0Znei9Ko

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I look forward to your response.

Ah yes, perfect!  Ok, here is my next issue.  I have two sections that have different "post" categories applied:

    1. News & Articles = category "blog": https://kvq.66d.myftpupload.com/articles-and-news/

    2. Podcast = category "podcast": https://kvq.66d.myftpupload.com/through-our-eyes-podcast/

On the single pages there are features at the bottom for "next post" and "you may also like" section.  I need these to only show "blog" or "podcast" categories depending on which single page category it is.  Currently they are all mixing up.  See example single page here (scroll down): https://kvq.66d.myftpupload.com/2024-7-29-a-miracle-in-the-works/  Is there a piece of code I can apply to tell it to exclude certain post categories?

Sure I will do that, but this one relates to what I was just asking about.  On the blog page, I no longer see all the posts and pagination to additional posts - there are over 30.  How do I add that here?  https://kvq.66d.myftpupload.com/articles-and-news/

    Hi Deb,

Thank you for getting back to us and my apologies for the previous response.

The reason you're only seeing 9 posts, is because you have limited the recent posts element to only display 9 posts as you can see in the screenshot below. You need to remove the 9 to see all posts. Unfortunately, the recent posts element does not have an option to add pagination to the element.2683006239.png

Alternatively, I'd recommend replacing the Recent Posts elemanr with the Post Loop Builder element as it offers more options to display your posts. The Post Loop Builder also offers pagination options.

I hope this information helps you achieve this. Try this and let us know if you need further assistance.

    Regards,
