I appreciate your help! I have enabled 5 social media icons to be displayed in the top-right corner of our website. Unfortunately, 1 of these – the LinkedIn icon – does not display. I suspect it may be attributed to a conflict between the Font Awesome plugin loaded to the site and the embedded icon library that comes with Salient, but can you please review the situation and let me know how we can fix this?
Add this into the Custom CSS box in your Salient Theme Options panel (We write all Custom CSS in the Live Browser to ensure accuracy. If you cannot see any changes, make sure there is no red cross in the Custom CSS Box as any syntax error would cause all CSS under that line of code to not show up on the Frontend):
To assist you better, we'd love to have a closer look at your setup and to do this, we'll need admin login credentials
(dashboard URL, username, password) to your site. This will enable us to conduct a more in-depth investigation of the issue based on your specific configurations. Would you mind sharing this with us?
If you prefer, you can safely share the access through an access plugin such as Controlled Admin Access.
Before you provide this information, we strongly recommend taking a backup of your site.
If you have any concerns or questions about this process, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Thanks, Judith, for your quick resolution! You may have also noticed that we have used CSS (per public ticket #3452823) to re-order the social media icons in the header. However, the order we have in the header bar is not reflected in the off-canvas menu that is seen on mobile. Could you please advise what code we need to apply to the CSS for the mobile social media icons to match the same order as seen in the header on desktop?
To streamline our communication and ensure timely resolution of all your inquiries, we kindly request that you open a new ticket for the new set of queries you have. This will allow us to prioritize and address each issue with the attention it deserves, without any potential oversight.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter.
