if I purchase a Salient license, can I use it on a wordpress multisite network and this one license will work for all my subsites (subfolder based)? If yes, will the license be automatically activated if it's activated on the main page?
You said "Regular licenses are meant for single end domains", but subfolder based multisite install is a single end domain (domain.com/site1, domain.com/site2, domain.com/site3...). So license wise, will the single purchase code be sufficient to activate the license on any number of multisite network child sites? (regardless if this requires manual activation).
The link you provided does not touch on the multisite scenario, so there is no answer there. But I know from other Themeforest hosted theme developers that some themes' license works on a multiste network and some don't. That is why I am asking you directly as this is my major purchase criteria!
Hey Chris, Envato doesn’t treat all Multisite use cases the same; it really depends on how you're using the Multisite setup. For example, could the sites all reasonably be considered part of the same End Product, or are they separate from each other? The Regular licenses are meant for single end domains. Also the Theme wont get installed on the subfolder sites automatically.
