I have a block of custom html (div, span) that I want to add to the footer area, at the very bottom of the page (after the pages that show up in the footer and after the social icons). How can I manage that?

    Thanks.

    Hi Cristi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I'd recommend using global sections to add the custom HTML to the bottom of your pages https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-global-sections/.

Try this and let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

Once I enable salient_g_sections for the Custom post type, I lose the ability to edit from the backend the Salient SaaS home page. How to avoid this consequence?

    Hey Again,

This should not occur normally. Could you elaborate a bit more on what issue you are having while editing the Homepage ?.

    Thanks

When I visit the homepage and click on edit this page, I'm taken to the backend page editor, where I see garbled raw code, instead of Salient rendered blocks, like this: [vc_row type="full_width_content" full_screen_row_position="middle" column_margin="none" equal_height="yes" content_placement="middle" column_direction="default" column_direction_tablet="default" column_direction_phone="default" full_height="yes"  ...

I found a way to make it work back again, by also checking the other 2 checkboxes for post and page.

Yes, although I think the checkboxes should be updated in your guide as well, to show that they are also needed.
