Your custom post types should have taxonomies such as tags to enable the filter to be displayed since the filter displays categories that are used to group the posts.
I hope this clarifies your query.
If you have any more questions or run into any problems, please feel free to reach out.
did you login to the page to see? the filtering just didnt display out.
When im using custom post type (not using blog post/portfolio), it just doesnt have options like 'project/blog categories', 'Enable Sortable', 'Sortable Filters Alignment' in the post loop builder settings.
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is v17.0.3 and the current version of the page builder is 7.8.1 . Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
But i also realised another issue was because im using carousel for the display type. The filters only works for grid type. It also doesn't work if we choose Masonry Layout.
Under Post Loop Builder, there is a 'Sortable Filter' function. Does this filter function works for custom post type as well?
