    Hello,

    I'm using Salient > Corporate 2 theme and I would love to allow my video to play automatically when either:

    1. People click on the image or

    2. People land on a page


    I noticed I can't upload my own video but I have to use youtube or vimeo. How can I have achieve this result?

    For example here you load the video right away: https://themenectar.com/salient/elements/self-hosted-video/

    Additionally on mobile the background video (Again youtube because I can't understand how to load a self-hosted video) disappear. 

    I would love to learn more about it.

    Hello Savio,

    Thanks for writing to us.

    This you can achieve by adding a background video which autoplay every time you load a page. You also have an option to upload your own video from here :

    On mobile only self hosted videos work.

    First Judith thanks so much for your help.

    What I can't understand is that the lightbox video component doesn't have any option to upload a video. 

    Here https://themenectar.com/salient/elements/self-hosted-video/ I see you are using that component?

    Hey Again,

    The lightbox feature does not allow self hosted videos. You can add them to the Row Backgrounds or using the "Self hosted Video Player" Page element.

    - Only Self Hosted Videos will play on Mobile.

    - Make sure they are in 16:9 ratio for the mobile to render them correctly.

    -  Convert the videos and then add them as per their appropriate file format: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-row/#video-background .

    - Be sure to turn off this option in Salient Theme Options Panel -> General Settings -> Functionality Tab
