I have purchased my own copy of Visual Composer and in the past I have been able to choose "Disable Salient Visual Composer" in the General Settings for Salient.

I am currently testing the 5.5 Update on a "sandbox" sub-domain, and I noticed that option is now gone, and I have not discovered yet how I can install the raw plugin.

I tried to install the raw plugin within the dashboard before installing the Salient version, and it "broke" the site.

How can I use the raw version of Visual Composer?

PLEASE HELP!!!

This update destroyed my whole website!!! It is completely different and the visual composer is completely gone!!!

The link you provided gives instructions to install the Salient Visual Composer, are you suggesting that at this step I install the raw Visual Composer plugin instead of the Salient version?

Please clarify how I install or enable the full version of Visual Composer.

Even after the latest update, I'm still not seeing the ability to disable the Salient version of Visual Composer in order to use the raw Visual Composer plugin. Where do I find that option?
