When I have masonry set to meta overlaid for the geometric tiling, I notice that the images are squashed or skewed? Is it possible to either, have them displayed cropped in (like 'background-image: cover' type css) or specify a different image than the featured image as the background for the masonry blog?
I've found a workaround where I upload the ...500x500.jpg image directly to my site. This way I can create exactly the crop I want for the geometric masonry grid. A bit bothersome but not too bad.

Thanks in advance! John.
