5.5.2 Update: Nectar Shortcodes missing from Visual Composer

I am trying to update Salient 5.5.0 to 5.5.2 but when it is all installed - with the Visual Composer plugin - the Nectar Shortcodes are missing and the editor only displays code.
I am running 5.5.0 on WP 4.1.1 and using a minimal child theme - CSS only.
Am I missing something? Should I maybe upgrade to 5.5.1 first?
Really appreciate any help because I want to stay up-to-date with this awesome theme.

Hey CJ ,

Please update to Salient Theme Version 5.5.3 as there have been major bug fixes .

After Updating be sure to Activate Salient Visual Composer as its now a standalone plugin from here : .
