Hi. I have tried with no luck to adjust the sizes of the product images in woo and nothing (including downloading and using the 'regenerate your thumbnails" plugin) changes the sizes. I'd a designer not a programmer - is there a way to do this w/o editing code?
There were some other things I'd like to change in the shop as well (reduce "related products" font size and remove or reposition the SKU/Cat line) so I bought CSS Hero - another total fail. Any help would be appreciated.
No i am afraid these would require editing code so you might need to hire a freelancer . Also the woocommerce forum and support docs are really great so you should try searching them too via Google.
Whats the point of the Woo "Product Images" resizing area in settings then? While their seem to be many people with this problem as frustrated as myself they appear to have had luck with the 'regenerate your thumbnails" plugin. Does this not work because of a conflict with your theme or does it not work for just about everyone making this "Product Images" resizing area a cruel joke?
P.S. I downloaded the child theme you supply a few minutes ago (so I am sure to have the latest) since I apparently need to edit this code to get around it (if you could shed some light on that as HAVE spent hours reading up on it, it would appear the theme is controlling the percentage the product image can be? Where can I find this code? Can I do it in editor on the child theme through WP or must I actually go through FTP?)…. anyway, while the main theme was updated (woo update) the child theme produces a warning that it has outdated woo bundled stuff in it. Woo's update I believe was serious security issue? I may be getting that mixed up with Yoast's but it seems this week had a big security scare across the board - please let me know when the child will be updated?
Hey Bonnie - the theme update for latest woo compatibility will be out later today. Would you be able to share your URL in regards so I can see why your images are not being served in the sizes which you have defined?
