I just installed the Salient theme but am unable to add any of the Nectar slider features. I also tested testimonials and had the same response.

If they are added to a page then nothing is loaded. I have also attempted to import the clean data that came with the theme files but those also fail to load. Is it the web host preventing this? Are there requirements on the server side to load your theme?
