I'm was used to enter my functions.php file form the backend, but I can't find it anymore. Previously it was under the appearance tab but it's not there anymore.
Okay so I should still be able to access it bij the theme editor, but this is not shown in my navi bar. I understand this is not a new thing after the last Salient update?

If this is missing, it may be a permissions issue. You can try logging in with admin logins or check whether there are permissions that are blocking you from accessing this.
