I am trying to use one of your Blog Templates in the page builder but when I make changes to the blog page nothing happens. It just loads the default blog page that is auto-generated and is fed by the salient options for the blog section. Hope that makes sense.
Thanks so much for reaching out — and yes, that absolutely makes sense!
It sounds like you're running into the common situation where WordPress is still using the default Posts page, which overrides any custom content built with the page builder.
To fix this, you’ll want to:
Go to Settings > Reading in your WordPress dashboard.
Check if a page is set as the "Posts page."
If it is, remove that assignment — this will allow your custom-built page to take effect instead of WordPress showing the auto-generated blog layout.
Once you do that, your Salient Blog Template should display as expected with all your changes.
Another Option is use the Global Sections "Blog Archive Loop" Location :
Would you happen to know what I could be doing wrong?
Also is it possible to configure the appearance of the post loop builder so that for instance the image appears first then the metadata? Opposite of the attached image.
Like turn off everything/disbale the plugin? BTW - this is only happening with the Post Loop Builder Element/Template. Not with the Blog or recent posts. You can see what I mean here.
To assist with this, could you allow us to log in to your website's backend dashboard so we can check on this for you? We will need the username and password of the admin user, as well as the login URL.

Hi Tahir,
This worked perfectly, however, all the blog post titles are missing.

Sorry I was not able to add it to edited reply so I have added it here.
